Michael Carr son of Henry Carr

Michael Carr was born about 1757 in VA near the present dayPetersburg,
WV. He obtained land in 1784 from Lord Fairfax. He died in Hardycounty
in 1844. Although he died there, many of his children moved west toOH.
He seems to have been married twice. It was the children from thefirst
marriage who moved to OH. The children of the second marriage stayedand
lived and died in Grant County, WV. The first wife is unknown, atthis
time. The second wife was Mary Gilmore. That is unless he marriedher
late in their relationship. That also seemed to happen.
